"The science of mine and thine---the science of justice---is the science of all human rights; of all a man's rights of person and property; of all his rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Gary, this one hits it out of the ball park. Actually out of the atmosphere. Somewhere into the stratosphere.
There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. ~Ayn Rand
Gary, great article! The government laws and regulations are out of control. I remember the movie "The Paper Chase". It was about Law School at Harvard? In any event, the show was about Contract Law. I think Contract Law might well be the only time I think there should be laws. Watching the movie and following TV show was interesting. Contract Law is complicated.
I believe in voluntary contracts but their have to be rules. Even under Natural Law there will be disagreements between people.
These Contract Courts could be privately run. No need for a State to have a legal system. The State uses the Law to subjugate us, imprison us, and steal from us.
"There are only a few legitimate natural laws to live by in order to respect the rights of man."
Yes Gary D. Barnett that is correct. As you may know, Hebrew folklore has it that the Ten Commandments as written by the finger of YHVH/God on two tablets of stone and given to Moses, had the first four on one tablet and the following six on the second tablet. The first four Commandments are man's relationship with Almighty YHVH/God and the remaining six Commandments are how man deals with man.
If civilized man adhered to the last six Commandments there would be no need for a government.
The problem with the first four is the idea that "god" would be damaged by anyone violating them. And WHO would be the enforcer of the penalties? Would god strike you dead on the spot or would it take a "law enforcement" officer to bring you before a man who decides? The last 6 all have a victim involved. The only one that I wonder the most about is the adultery one. Seems from my research it had to do with mixing blood or in another words adulterating the blood of one race with another. Maybe that is why a marriage license came into play with interracial marriage. After all, a license is permission to do something that would otherwise be unlawful.
I totally reject your basic premise that the Living God, (the One who stood on the edge of time and with a Word spoke the universe into existence), could possibly be damaged by man whom He created.

4 things humans could do in order to get rid of government
1. Barter vs. Money
2. Spirituality vs. Religion
3. Telepathic Communication
4. Frequency Healing
