"Collectivism holds that the individual has no rights, that his life and work belong to the group (to "society," to the tribe, the state, the nation) and that the group may sacrifice him at its own whim to its own interests.
Yep, add 'Libertarian' to my ever-growing list of Usta-Be! I'm an avowed non-participant in the selection mania and so much else, including the medical machine.
The H.L. Mencken quote is spot-on. My wife and I don't vote. I'm not even on the voter rolls. Governments are made up of people who rationalize their behavior. They are not our friends. To prove it, try and resist their edicts and see what happens.
I have a friend, who recently relocated back to that police state north of the border, known as Canada. He prided himself on, adoring the libertarian party, and figures such as the Paul’s , and other official politicians in the so-called libertarian party. He liked to call himself a minarchist and that he believed that a government should exist only for national and international security. When has that ever occurred and when will it occur? Every government in the history of the world has never relinquished power, only expanded it. But his feeling was that without some form of government to keep the people in line, we would degenerate into the road warrior. I tend to disagree with him, because as we know, government is the most greedy organization in history, and will do everything in its power to steal from their subjects, and control them mostly in vicious ways.
Another brilliant commentary Gary. I’d like to shout your message from the rooftops! …Especially your last paragraph. However, seems not many would listen. The belief in a system rooted in deception and greed is ingrained on society thru generations of indoctrination. Psychological operations abound and the delusion is deep and widespread. As you wrote and I concur, most on the “world stage” are frauds and deceivers. If you know their name, they are probably compromised, controlled or controlling in some way and downright evil. Society idolizes fame and wealth and few ever question the integrity or intentions of the “household names” be it religious leaders, politicians, government figures, billionaire CEO’s, grifter influencers, doctors, athletes, actors, singers and musicians, etc. And as long as society allows this nonsensical tradition of being subjected to evil political authority; freedom remains an illusion. Sadly, the insanity does continue.
As a child of the 1970's, early 80's my grandfather and great uncle would sit around and talk about all of these ideas and their observation that we as people and as a country were headed down the wrong path. They were of the great generation. My mom and dad seemed never to hear or understand what they were saying. Boomers. As I aged I applied what the elders said to my own observations and agreed. I've thought a lot about why the elders words were so lost on that middle generation. At this point, I suspect consumerism and the invention of television. My great uncle always called the TV the idiot box. I'm a TV never. I actually feel the mind control when I am near it. It seems like one just can't get through to TV watchers. Even pointing out chemtrails, one can tell immediately if they are speaking to TV watchers, cuz you can literally watch their eyes glaze over and a blank look come across their face and they change the subject. I'm interested in how people were able to break free from the mind control. What are some of your experiences that lead you to your current understanding?
Gary, I sure appreciate your writing. You seem to always have a little thought nugget (sometimes a big one) in every article that, at least to some degree, adjusts my world view and POV. Cheers my Friend!
